Join us on Sunday  September 5th at 5pm for a Picnic and BBQ Contest Evening.  We will have Live Music and for the Children.... Bounce Houses and Games. This will be a great Potluck/BBQ Meal. Bring a side dish, chair, blanket, and a smiling face.

Church in the Park

Church in the Park is a one day Mission Adventure that gives the opportunity to make and serve a meal, join in worship and spend time interacting with the homeless and hurting in our community to show them the love of Jesus. Will you SERVE the lost and broken hearted. There are many opportunities to help..

New Teaching Series - In God We Still Trust(?)

Over the next few weeks Pastor David will be discussing the foundational, Biblical truths our nation was founded on, and why it is important to hold to those truths in our own lives. "In God We Still Trust? - Rediscovering America's Values" is a six-week series through the month of July comparing the Declaration of Independence with Biblical concepts and foundations, to reestablish in our minds the connection between our Nation and our Faith.

"How to Understand the Bible" Course This Summer

Pastor Garth Aderholt is starting a new class on Monday nights. "How to Understand The Bible," a study on Hermeneutics (which, translated, simply means how to interpret the Bible correctly), kicks off June 7th in the Cove Kitchen Meeting Room.

Many Baptized This Month at Shelter Cove!

Over the past few months, Shelter Cove has been blessed to see many new faces through our ministries. Since changing service times in March, we have seen much growth in both weekend services and our weekly studies. Over the past two weekends, our pastors were honored to make Baptism available after each service, and many people came to make public the commitments they have made to follow Christ.

Easter Weekend, Good Friday Services

This past weekend, Shelter Cove started it's celebration of Resurrection Weekend during Palm Sunday. Continuing the series in Philippians, Pastor David was joined by special musical guests Sweet Deliverance as he spoke on finding joy amongst the difficuties in our lives.

Easter is next weekend, and we have the following services available for our guests to come, worship and grow together.
